Green parklands, tropical rainforests and plants with an abundance of birds, lizards and wildlife greet you when you arrive at this quirky little place. Down a path and you arrive at the Glow Worm Caves. Led by our expert guide, James, we were taken deep into a cave with thousands of glow worms. His enthusiasm and knowledge is only surpassed... The glow worm caves are on the property of a winery. You are welcome to wander around the grounds while waiting for your tour. We had lunch here as well. The man made caves are small but there are heaps of glow worms. There is a small display called frog hollow that has information and tanks with local frogs to... More

What a surprise so close to Brisbane and Gold Coast. Are the glow worms real - yes and we were impressed. Like amazing fairy lights of nature.

If you're in the area and feel like a little half-hour tour to see some glow worms, you can't go wrong. It's not the most engaging tour I've ever been on but then again you are just looking at and learning about little worms that glow in the dark! (Which is actually very interesting.) Very good for kids, especially as... More

We had a great tour today of the Glow Worms Cave. It was very informative and if you've got young kids they would enjoy it. All the tour guides we saw getting ready for the tours seemed to be genuinely happy to be there. We had a Fantastic tour guide named James. $12 an adult $6 a child, $9 a... More

The tour took about an hour and the guide shared wonderful examples and about the habitat and life cycle of the glow worms (which were close to extinction and can only be found in Australia and New Zealand). The cave was 'glittering' with glow worms that created a magical learning experience for my family. 2 thumbs up.

After the disappointment of receiving a toy glow worm for Christmas instead of a real one I decided to take my 4-yr old son to the glow worm caves so he could see for himself why santa couldn't deliver. The 30-minute tour was the perfect length for him. The glow worms were spectacular and our tour guide Jules was knowledgeable... More

We attended our family's Friday Night Wedding, reception and followed then enjoyed the Glow Worms Tour today. The chapel, gardens, staff and wedding reception areas are first class, completely suitable for weddings. We all stayed locally and organized a coach to and from the wedding which was an excellent. The house wines for the wedding reception was so nice, I... More

Ive read a few reviews stating that this was short but in my view its just a perfect time slot. Any longer and it would be just wasted. For those who believe it should be longer - just sit outside and take in the surroundings. Yes it is educational which is great for a parent who wants to making learning... More
