Called in at the Brief Encounter heritage centre, very interesting. Had our lunch in the buffet which was fine, but quite busy and had run out of the soup that we would have liked.

Glad to hear you found the Heritage Centre very interesting. Unfortunately the Refreshment Room is not operated by ourselves - it is privately owned but I will pass on your comments to the owner.

A must when visiting the area. Love the film, love the station and love the cafe - great food served with great humour.

We were in the area and after having seen the film with a live orchestra last year thought we’d go and see. As other reviewers have said it is heavily focussed on the film with other facts about the stations past. The refreshment rooms have...More

Visited whilst my wife was attending a craft workshop being held at the centre giving me plenty of time to look around. The heritage centre plays heavily on the fact it was where the film “Brief encounter “ was partially filmed. However, there was plenty...More

Also the film Brief Encounter is continually showing at the heritage centre so it would require extra time should you wish to watch this!
