My boyfriend and his mum took me to Martin Mere for the day, it was boiling hot but I had a really nice time! I really enjoyed feeding the ducks, and I loved looking at the flamingos! The otters were extremely cute as well! There...More

Did not expect to enjoy this as I am not too good on my feet, but it's a truly wonderful place to visit. The walking was easier than I thought as there are plenty of seats along the paths, and all the different birds were...More

Have always wanted to visit Martin Mere and it was well worth it. So much to see and some unusual birds. One of the areas was a special area from hatching to being ready to move on. Look out for the ducks with tufty hair...More

Lovely day out where the staff could not have been more helpful with our disabled grandaughter. Superb local food in the cafe too

Interesting, plenty to see & well set up. There's also a small playground for the kids & a cafe on the site.

Such a well run WWT Centre. Staff excellent and the Centre is very well maintained. The play park area is great for all ages and the cafe is very enjoyable.

very expensive for a family. and they try to charge another 10% to receive gift aid. its a great place but I think £30+ and then all the add on's are a bit exploitative. but duck food is expensive and they are saving the world....

I'm sorry but we do not allow children to ride bikes or scooters on the site due to the large number of ducks and geese roaming around the paths and also because any accidents may see a rider not just fall off their bike... More

As others have mentioned, we are not served by a bus route. Probably the quickest way by train from Liverpool is to catch a train to Southport and then change to a train that goes to Burscough Bridge. It is about a 40 minute... More
