Very easy access and clean. Fantastic views and a cafe on tap. Definitely worth a visit and a stroll - Hunstanton is a lovely walk away.

Nice and quiet in the winter months but I'd imagine it'd be pretty hellish in the summer with the massive caravan parks.

We visited Heacham in the Summer on a perfect day and the beach just added to the mood. The sand seemed to go for miles and miles and yet their was hardly anyone around.

I often go down to the beach whatever the weather. It is one of the best and has not been spoilt by tourists or pollution.

An ineffective sea wall (signs warn of regular flooding) provides a walk for locals and their dogs. The "beach" is mainly shingle and a little muddy sand. It is not the Costa del Sol! No deck chairs for hire, but then again, there were few...More

The beach itself is nice, lovely place to spend an afternoon. The area is over populated by caravan parks which ruin the views and make the beach more difficult to access. Try further along the coast to Old Hunstanton or Brancaster.

There you go - The Fox in Heacham Village. There are certainly loads of dogs running free on the beach and along the shore as this is an ideal exercise area. There are several pubs in Heacham and if you are visiting in the... More
