The tour was in Italian but there are English audio guides. The tour guide gave a lot of info not on the audio tour, so those using the audio tour in our group were a bit lost. Some interesting things to see, though.

During the week in season, there are two guided tours per day; one at 12:00 and one at 16:00. This is not at aĺl clear on advertising (which implies it is open from 12;00 - 16:00) until you get there. The place is totally shut between 13:00 and 16:00. Sadly we arrived at 13:00 and couldn't wait so we missed... More

Our guide was one of the men who discovered this treasure so you could really see the passion in his eyes. He's a funny, charming men who tries his best to translate a lot in English, but I feel like you can get twice as much out of it if you speak Italian. So for Italians, I would definitly recommend... The visit of the underground structures rediscovered in the 1970s is well worth it. The frescoes in the medieval chapel as well as the drawings in the cell where a famous army Free Mason was held prisoner by the Inquisition are quite unique.

Great expectations to the underground. The tour was ok, but there were only Italian speaking guides, and l guess we expected more from both the sight and guides.

An extremely interesting tour with authentic items you can see closely. However, I whish the audio-guide was more detailed. The explanation of the Italian tour guide were longer and more detailed.

Great informative experience. Really interesting and helped by the taped tour guide. I think he Italian visitors got a lot more information but we still enjoyed it. Amazing historical site- magical frescoes in the underground church. Really enjoyed it.

Our visit to Narni was wonderful. The underground was intriguing and the hospitality of the people of this wonderful town was very warm. Narni is my favorite place in Italy.

it was a coincidence that we were recommended this amazing experience by the owners of trattoria tiberina, but what a find. part of the forgotten history of narni, where half of the beauty is hearing how, through coincidence, the truth was uncovered over thirty plus years of research. an incredible domenican chapel with one of the most beautiful archangelo san... Great to visit Cardinal Albornoz's residence and the the underground cripts, passages, tunnels, prisons etc hidden under the midieval Narni. Enjoyable and refresing in summer months, chilly in winter.
