In the ranch you will find a gentle host who really loves his horses and takes really good care of them, wile there make sure to as to see his collection of Indian style hand crafted axes , it’s a must visit 👌👍

We did an hour and a half hack at this lovely riding stable in the heart of Tuscany. The horses were lovely and well behaved- a nice forward-going one for me as an experienced rider, but also lovely trotters for our two beginners.
Tack is cowboy-style - leather stirrrups, a large pommel on the saddle - which made the beginners more stable. Riding helmets were new and felt safe.
The scenery was magnificent- huge views revealed through the woods.
The instructor’s English was very limited - we really didn’t mind but if this is important to you you might want to be aware.

What a find! It is very rare to find a stables so well run. Everything about Ruscello ranch is exceptional! The people are kind and caring. They only speak Italian but my child felt instantly comfortable and confident with going on the ride alone with Marcello, who is as good with children as he is with his horses. The horses are in beautiful condition, very healthy and happy. The stable is immaculately clean. The area is beautiful and the trail interesting. Marcello pointed out wild pigs and deer as they rode. I cannot recommend this place more highly! A gem!

I have been taking my children to Ruscello Ranch since they were 2 and 4 years old (they are now 13 and 11) and although we don't get there as often as we would like these days I can't recommend it highly enough. Marcello is amazing with horses, children and adults who like me are terrified of horses! Or perhaps I should say 'were' terrified... The horses are very well cared for and Marcello always took the time to teach the children about how important it is to look after animals properly as well as teaching them to ride. This is the perfect place for both beginners and more experienced riders.

This lovely little ranch in the mountains in tuscany is the perfect location for a trail ride. The guide was friendly and although there was a language barrier meaning we didn't talk much I had a wonderful time. It was great value for money I ended up on a private trail ride for an hour and it was only 25 euros which is definitely less than you'd pay in the UK although I'm not sure what the prices are like elsewhere in the same area. They were willing to cater for all abilities of riding and I would definitely recommend it, if I am in the area in the future I will be visiting again.
