Just wandering the streets of Salo to get to the Clock tower is a peaceful and relaxing experience. The lake breeze cools down the hot summer days.

If you park north of Solo and walk into town, you will probably walk through this gate. It is nice, but not worth a special trip.

On Mondays, most museums and attractions are closed except in Salo .I caught the bus from Desenzano early morning and wandered round until the MuSa opened .
Walked up here from the nearby bus station and it's a totally impressive entry point into this small but beautiful little town.
So peaceful early morning but sure to be busy later on.

We could not access the Watchtower from outside, but we used it as a point of reference for meeting people and if we got lost. Well kept up and clean facade. You cannot see Salo without seeing the Watchtower and it makes a good focal point for pictures.

Just pop by and have a look. This is an imposing and elegant gateway to the pedestrian part of Salò.

A nice tower in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II surrounded by nice streets. You will stumble across it if walking around Salo.

Tower with clock and entrance door to the historic center of Salo, pretty, one of the symbols of the city, small commercial activities underneath

It is pleasant to walk along the walk that leads slightly uphill from the lake towards the Clock Tower. It is well maintained but without too many indications
