Cruise down Amalfi coast, both option is great- by road or sea. Then settle in Castellabate for some chillaxing in the warm waters, beautiful sunset, artisans gelato, welcoming local culinary experience and service.

Staying in Santa Maria di Castellabate in June was like a lottery prize. It is a lovely small town with beautiful sandy beach with historical palaces behind you. It was real escape from the crowds but still there were Italian tourists so the place was...More

A great place to come, far from the Amalfi coast crowds, nice beach, not too many foreign tourists, 15 euro to rent 2 chairs with umbrella and everyone was very nice. Beautiful soft sand and clear warm water.

There really was not much to see or do in March. Some pretty views of water, but there are much nicer beaches inItaly. Most stores and restaurants were closed

the best food on the beach, the sea breeze wafting over you while you eat just keeps you cool, the staff you will find can not do enough for you, a place to have a cold beer after a morning in the sun

Great beach town a little off the beaten path. There is no beach in America that I know of that sells amazingly good fried calamari and shrimp in a paper cone! These people know how to live well!
