About
The agricultural company Marino, founded in the 1970s, plays a crucial role in the history of viticulture in Campania. Indeed, it is thanks to the Marino family that the first DOP wine came into existence. Spanning 33 hectares, the vineyards, all owned by the family, are cultivated according to organic farming standards. The Marino family manages the entire production chain, from cultivation to vinification to sales, with the assistance of highly specialized staff. This approach has forged a strong trust relationship with consumers, established and consolidated over the years. Thanks to the commitment of the new generations within the Marino family and the experience accumulated over the years by previous generations, the company maintains an exceptional standard of quality. The grapes produced are primarily Aglianico and Fiano, with a small production of Piedirosso.

I visited with my family last week.
Assunta was the most wonderful host and showed us around the vineyard before showing us how the wine is made. We were then treated to a truly beautiful meal with wine. We had two children with us and Assunta was exceptionally generous and accommodating, I really enjoyed our conversation. Thank you so much, we have all spoken about it to our family and friends and it was truly an experience we will never forget. Very best wishes for a good harvest, I hope we will visit again.

Took this tour with my family on a nice evening with Assunta as the host. She and her husband own the winery which has been in family hands for many years. We also met her two sons who also work the winery.

This was such an enjoyable tour with a couple of dogs and a cat following us around the vineyard. The winery produces red and white wines and we were given a tour of the process from harvest to bottling. The tour ends with a tasting of the wines the vineyard produces accompanied by some delightful snacks from the region. We were also given a lesson in olive oil tasting which was very interesting. Assunta was such a gracious host she left us with such a memorable experience we surely will never forget. Thank you so very much!

Oh... one more thing. The wine is terrific.

We visited here with a couple we met at our resort Pam and Steve. Our tour included another lovely young couple from Russia. Assunta husbands family have owned and run these vineyards for over 40 years . She speaks excellent English and is a warm and informative hostess. After walking through the organic olive orchard and vineyards we were treated to a lovely tasting of 2 red wines, one white, one rose and one desert wine.... all were excellent
But what really impressed me was the lovely food pairing offered with this tour
A whole focaccia bread split between two people, large chunk of parmigiana cheese, bread and oil and spices salami accompanied by individual plates of ricotta, mozzarella, cured ham and caprese salad.... and then biscotti to finish by dipping into the desert wine... all for 20 euro per person
Did I mention the olive oil tasting with extra virgin olive oil... I finally know what a quality oil should taste like... you can actually taste it and it’s not greasy

Products to purchase were not so reasonable

I only purchased the medium olive oil for 12 euro but felt that was a little pricey to buy direct from manufacturer

I believe their wines started at 15 or 20 euro per bottle with the reserve costing 35 euro

Overall awesome hostess and best tasting ever

Booked this the day before we visited via email for my family of 4. Communication was prompt and pleasant. We were warmly welcomed to the vineyard by Assunta who, along with her husband and three sons, runs the family business. Assunta showed us around their organic vineyard and olive farm and talked about the types of grapes they grow and how they produce the wine. We were then given the opportunity to taste the wines accompanied by some delicious cheeses, meats and bread. The setting is beautiful and Assunta was a delightful host. We were the only group on the tour and had a thoroughly enjoyable relaxed couple of hours. We were even introduced to Jack and Mr President, the friendliest family dogs you could ever wish to meet! Thoroughly recommend a visit here.

Even though we were nine people and had not booked a visit we were warmly welcomed by the family.

An amazing visit filled with exciting information about wine production, amazing wine, amazing food and last but not least a warm and lovely guide.

We also got to try their own olive oil which was interesting and a real taste experience.

Many thanks to the Queen of the yard for an amazing stay! Highly recommended!

The owners here are so lovely and accommodating. It rained one of the days of our stay so we turned up unannounced and they were so gracious, allowing us to tour the winery and then the best bit - sample the wine!
We hadn't booked so they could have turned us away but they welcomed us in. We had a perfect 2 hour visit and a private tour as we were out of season, then a lovely chat with the owner whilst we sampled the wine. We even took some away with us :)

Well worth a visit.

This was an exceptional treat and wonderful visit. Combined this with a day trip to Paestum Greek site and Vannulo mozzarella farm, guided by Franco at Antares91. Excellent. The wine is fabulous especially the Reserva. The olive oil is extra extra virgin. And the food pairings are also delicious.

We were in the area, googled nearby wineries and Marino was close by, we stopped and enjoyed the tastings and the owner. We bought both wines and olive oil, if you are in the area it is a great winery to visit. Cheers
