This is very easy to find, right on the main old highway between Heraklion and Agios Nicolauos, about bus stop 5,across from very small town beach of Hani Kokkini. It's one square block only.Although we tried twice when it was supposed to be open, the gate was locked, and no caretaker around. No information board .

Nice little ruin but no supporting information on site. Enjoyed interpreting the ruins myself but a little more on site information would have been useful

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. A good opportunity to see Minoan architecture on a smaller scale but with some of the same features you see in the larger palace sites. Free and open 8.30 till 3pm.

This attraction is free to visit and you can park right outside.
It's an archaeological site with a Minoan Mansion.
There was a lot more to see than we expected.
Most of the mansion remains are under cover so you have some shelter from the sun.
Well worth a visit and the coast around here is lovely.
There is a bus stop right outside the attraction and a beach opposite.
