Very modern museum, good experience. I would recommend to everyone as we need to remember. For families for adults for everyone.

Walking on the same beach that those young men landed on, and so many died on, was surreal. It was so peaceful, with dog walkers and families strolling along the beautiful sands. The commemorative statues on the seafront express the depth of the tragedy and...More

This was the second D-Day site we visited on our trip to Normandy. Very moving with great examples of the equipment used and what they went through that day.

This museum is quite overwhelming. The sheer scale of stuff to look at and read is extraordinary. We allowed 2 hours but even after 3 hours we hadn't seen it all - but we were overloaded with information so resolved to go back.

Excellent museum with so much to see! The displays were fantastic and some of the best we saw on our trip. The B-26 inside was amazing. Definitely worth a trip. We spent around 2 hours here.

Oh boy!!! Excellent museum. Loved the displays, quality and comprehensiveness. Was there out of season so it was bliss. Saw many unique pieces and loved the aircraft inside. A definite must do. Allow at least three hours.

The historical events is well displayed. You must take your children to experience this. They must Learn about the historical events taking place in Europe and they have to see.

My dad landed on Utah Beach so I was thrilled to visit there. The beach has been preserved (or left alone), and is probably very similar to what it was in 1944. It is a reverent place, and you will feel the events if you...More
