    Another museum
I suppose I love the smaller museums and they tend to stick in my memory more. Yes this was good and obviously had a lot of money spent on it. I always enjoy the before and after photos, as in France the landscape hardly changes at all! It was very informative but I sometimes get word overload and give up! I then just look at the objects which there were plenty of , so that was good. Interestingly when we got there, they could' only accept cash, fortunately we always carry both. This happened quite bit when we were in France. So take cash.

    Absolutely fascinating
We visited Utah Beach during a visit to Normandy. Fortunately the weather was with us. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and only after you visit the museum you'll realise the enormity of what happened and the bravery and sadness. The museum is well worth a visit. Entry is very reasonably priced. The story of the 6th June 1944 is beautifully and sensitively told. An absolute must if you are in the area.

    Utah Beach Museum
Solid museum that covers the Utah Beach landings and much of the background to the D-Day beach landings. A number of mementos, equipment, and artifacts to be seen here including a bomber inside the hangar. Well done exhibit which also includes a 10 minute film (runs in French and English) on the Utah Beach landings in 1944. Gift shop at the end. Bathrooms on site and free parking. Also a small eatery just outside that is open depending on the time of year. The museum rests right over a German position which you'll be able to see through the windows towards the end of the tour. Very well done and worth the stop.

A trip worth taking. A different perspective on the War in Europe
I’m not usually inclined to write reviews but felt I should. Went to this Museum on the last day our holiday when we had the morning to spare. Hadn’t planned on going but our tour guide the previous day had recommended it and the weather held for us, so we gave it a go. I am glad we did. The museum is well laid out and presented with a great audio tour throughout. When you first arrive you seem remnants of the man made port which was previously there. The museum goes into great depth explaining the colossal effort need to achieve such feat. I loved the scaled models and the interactive holograms blended into the view to show you the scale of the operation. It is great to see another perspective on this side of the war, with emphasis usually on the landings and the frontline. It shows the behind the scenes and how they achieved that. A Must see.

    Authentic and personal
We visited here as part of our 80th D-Day Anniversary trip. This is a great site and a great museum. The director is a really dedicated individual (his father started it and the family owns Brecourt Manor). It is easy to follow and comprehend the importance of this beach and its significance to the bigger picture. There are many museums one can visit in Normandy--make this is one.

Day 4 of our trip and this was our 3rd stop of the day. Primarily visited to see the B-26 Marauder but were impressed with the whole of the museum.

This place is amazing. It wasn't busy but probably due to the time of year we went. Entrance fee is reasonable, as with most museums here. It took us about an hour and a half to see everything. It has lots of information on people, places, and hardware used during the invasion on D-Day June 6, 1944. Worth a trip, and when you are done you can move up the coast and see some of the bunkers for free.

We enjoyed our visit to this museum. There's a lot of information and things to see, presented in a variety of formats. The movie at the beginning gave a nice overview of the battle that took place on Utah beach.

Impressive and extensive collection of WWII artifacts. Allow more time than you think if you want to dig in on the information. Get the audio guide or the guided tour (reasonably priced).

Second visit, I like the way it is setup, grand and with lots of space, many items and different subjects, but at some point the text in the displays is overwhelming.
