This is well worth a visit. There are 6 hanging bridges that sway but very safe. We had amazing hot weather but of course it can rain. We only saw monkeys in the distance and we saw no birds but we went mid morning. Maybe...More

We visited Santa Elena Skywalk in the afternoon after spending the morning at Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It was the perfect bookend because here we were among the treetops. The hanging bridges gave us a totally different perspective on the abundant plant life amid the...More

This place is wonderful. Must less crowded than the similar Selvatura. During most of the Skywalk we were completely alone in the forest. The hanging bridges were high and very long, really allowing you to look down on the rainforest. Really loved this place.

We really enjoyed our walk through the Santa Elena Forest on the Sky bridges. You really do get a different perspective of the forest from so high up. There were so many different trees and plants, and the vegetation was lush. I do agree with...More

The walk was nice but short. Bridges are beautiful. Skywalk is quite boring it is just walking through forest, we did not see any animals, there were just trees, no other colour than green. The comparating with rainy forest, cloud forest is boring. I think...More

It is not so much about the animals, though we saw butterflies, birds, howler monkeys and a tarantula. And, of course, welcoming coati mundi at the entrance. It is more about different perspective of forest. There are several information boards at the name sake bridges...More

You can call the hotel and ask them. We rented a car and drove. Driving in Costa Rica is not so difficult. So if you decide to book a car, do it from the airport. Get directions to your hotel.
