1st we walked along the hanging bridges which was a great way to start getting used to heights if you're a little sketchy like me. We didn't do a guided tour because we wanted to go at our own pace, but it was very beautiful...More

We did a guided 2hrs tour through the park and hanging bridges. The guide was ok and showed us some flowers and a spider. But overall the tour is way overpriced for what you get. The bridges are ok but at the end just bridges,...More

Great walk led by a local guide with knowledge of flora and fauna. Takes two hours to complete the tou via paths and suspension bridges. Starts with small suspended bridge building up to higher and longer ones at the end of the tour.

Up above some trees, on a level with others, the hanging bridges give you the perfect chance to see those birds you can only hear from ground level. Stop, look, take it all in.

I went on this walking tour a bit concerned that it might be too rigorous for me as I am in my 70's. You just need to take it slowly. It is so worth the effort. You can take a tour but on your own...More

A well organised tour, from humming birds to the elusive Quetzal and almost face to face with the howler monkeys crossing above the walk way

We had a great hike through the forest to a beautiful waterfall. Hiking with our 4 year old never lasts very long but we were able to make it to the waterfall and back in about an hour (which is about the limit for her...More

The skywalk isn't too far away from the town centre up a winding gravel track. There is a large, modern reception building with good facilities. Then it's an uphill path to the first of five suspension bridges which gradually increase in length. You are right...More

This is well worth a visit. There are 6 hanging bridges that sway but very safe. We had amazing hot weather but of course it can rain. We only saw monkeys in the distance and we saw no birds but we went mid morning. Maybe...More

You can call the hotel and ask them. We rented a car and drove. Driving in Costa Rica is not so difficult. So if you decide to book a car, do it from the airport. Get directions to your hotel.
