Mega Bangna cornered by IKEA is a shoppers paradise, huge mall with basically everything under one roof. When hungry and you have grown tired of the Swedish meatballs at IKEA there are plenty of other dining options, western, Thai, Japanese and Korean. During the weekend, the mall gets super busy and be prepared to spend some extra time looking for parking.

Place is not that huge as what the reviews made it out to be. It’s ‘huge’ because it’s low rise (2 floors) spread over a large land area with lots of space among the different sections.
Shopping: not great, the usual names which one can find in downtown Bangkok - Central Dept Store, Big C Extra, Zara, Addidas, etc.
Restaurants: many choices, almost all the usual suspects are there.
There’s a IKEA in the same area - which tourists are not likely to be excited about since IKEA is identical anywhere on the world.

Getting there by Skytrain Sukhumvit line to Udom Suk Station, then hop on the free shuttle bus to Mega Bangna.
The shopping mall is the biggest one in Bangkok with a Big C supermarket, Ikea and lot of shops.
Spent two hours there, with the last minutes sitting in its food court.

How can the Mega Bangna Management allow the new Seoulmate Korean to have so big loudspeakers outside blasting music the whole square can hear it?
Poor HÖBS next door... where we had dinner outside. For the last time.
Suggestion to the Mall Management: No restaurants can have loudspeakers outside.
Stop the madness.

We as a family like to come to this mall to have our dinner in the food court. In Mega Bangna there are many good restaurants especially Japanese food, but we prefer the court food. There are many varieties of delicious quality food like oysters, noodles, teppanyaki, chicken rice, burgers, steaks etc.

A little out of Bangkok, a great place to hang out with family or alone. Free 20 min shuttle ride from Udom Suk BTS. Major shopping chains like IKEA, Homepro together with a wide variety of shops makes it a shopping paradise. Frequented mostly by locals, it's not very crowded. Plenty of dining options available.

HUGE multiplex mall east of Bangkok with A/C and crowds on the weekends (avoid). Banking alley, big gym(month+ memberships), Big C(not the best), IKEA(frugal food option), movie theater, many small shops and pharmacies along with a host of name brands and upscale brand stores. Prepaid card Food Court and small food stores by Big C. No bargains here but fun to see western style commerce in action with many many choices in comfortable setting, seating by IKEA throughout mall.
Central Mall is a bit west in Bangna and another big mall option. Tops Club is in east Bangkok with Costco, Walmart, Tops(british) products. Makro is a Bangkok big box style option.

This place is big and spacious but not organised. Food is everything, so when search for food it can be quite challenging. The directory is not friendly, it just give direction, it does not show u the restaurants or the shops in the whole mall. Overall it is new and nice. Prices are average to high end products. Oh if you are taking a cab back, there is buggy going round the mall. Hop on it to go to the main road to look for cab.

It is a very nice shopping plaza on Bangna-Trad Road, where you can find almost everything there. There is a Central Department Store, 2 Tops Supermarkets, a HomePro, an Ikea, theatres, a nice food court, a dog park, a 7-11, a post office, hundreds of shops, restaurants, and banks, etc. Ample parking space and you can park free for 6 hours. I often go there and find it fantastic!

Eight hours FREE, except for overnight.
Shop opening hours 10.00 o 22.00 so parking free for those hours. Plenty of undercover parking available including Ladies parking and short term parking.
