    Nice to see
A nice place to see with an important message. I wouldn’t drive a very long way only to see this building, but if you are close to it, it is worth to visit. Also the view to Galle is something I really liked.

    Peaceful
When you look across from Galle this rises above the mountain, seemingly supported by trees. When you get here the scale is breathtaking. It's very serene and peaceful to walk around and the views are second to none. A very simple temple is next to it and its simplicity gave tranquility. There is also a temple for Hanuman who is part of the story here. If you go into the temple then please dress respectfully. Shoes on, bikinis, shorts and vests are not the way to go.

Worth it but bring your own ride
Visit in the evening, and buy a flower for offering from the family just outside. Terrific place. But heads up: ride here yourself or you’ll be stuck paying whatever he two or three tuk-tuk dudes outside demand. We ended up for it over fare greater than the trip to Galle (twice as far away) because it was that or walk back to our hotel in Unawatuna.

Interesting. Worth a trip if you are local and got time
Tuktuk to the top from our hotel. Nice view from the top over to Galle. Walked down to jungle beach . Small cove with a bar but very busy. Walked back up to the pergoda and then took the jungle oath down to the other beach. Good path . Throws you out along the tourist street. Lots of bars/restaurants and gift shops. I thought an interesting trip out.

True to it's name, this pagoda exudes peace and calm. Located in a less frequented place, it is a nice place to meditate.

As I see it is just a small Pagoda in Japanese style – besides the view from the temple down to the Gall Fort there is nothing to see there!

This temples my usual place may time i visited there but still i want to go. This one didn’t ask for an entrance fee and just a kind donation. The monks were very friendly and welcoming too. Awesome views of the Indian Ocean too.

Nice walk from Unawatuna, uneven and rocky at times, so go by tuk-tuk the long way around if you have mobility challenges.

Very peaceful as we were there early morning, had the place almost to ourselves.

Please do show respect, shoes off, a decent top on etc.
