Some 4.2 km from malandighi main road on a mud road, this place is serene, beautiful and with a decent history. It's amidst the greenery of Ghar jungle. A quiet get-away from the busy Durgapur town to something more peaceful. There are a few temples and picnic facility (water, toilets). There are no shops once you leave the main road. Ample parking facility. Please avoid it during monsoon. During Durga Puja, you might not find the place as serene, as lots of people pay visit to this place.…

Very old and well known historic temple and ashram of old Ruhr Bengal. It is a must visit for any one come to the areas around it. But the structures are in degrading state due to lack of maintenance. But one can see the beautiful terracotta structures of old establishment.

Awesome place.... Ideal for a monsoon drive or early morning drive.... If you like driving amidst jungle on unpaved roads then this is absolutely worth it. Mind the weather as it can be quite humid if visited when the sun is out.

I was fascinated at the sight of this beautiful terracotta temple inside the dense inpenetrable forest. The historical importance of this forest made it all the more thrilling.

It is said that Kapalkundala belonged to this place. We visited the jungle with our private self driven car. Its quite dense at some places. Open for picnickers during winter. A nice visit indeed.
