The farm brunch is one of my favorite experiences in Delhi. This is not just for myself, but also as a gift for my friends and family. Each time I’ve been or recommended this place, there have only been positive experiences. For me the biggest draw is the delicious seasonal food. I love hearing about the different fresh ingredients and the process that has gone into bringing the food onto our tables. While it’s satisfying to eat tasty food that’s healthy and sourced ethically, it’s also fascinating to understand how much time, love and effort the entire process from sowing to plucking to plating takes! Can’t wait to attend more events at the farm. Also have to mention the amazing hosts who add so much authenticity to the entire experience. I also have a one year old and took him for the first time. He couldn’t get over the animals and all the hands on experiences they had. We just love the vibe.

On a Saturday afternoon we were taken to Prodigal Farm after curiosity aroused by series of delicious meals by Neha and Punit at weekend fares of Sunder Nursery . The farm experience turned out to be much more than just an outing on winter afternoon. The warm hospitality, a primer on their venture and commitment to organic farming AND never ending Indian and continental eatables of high quality. Be ready for these accompaniments you would love. All in midst of nature in its rather raw state near Yamuna bank. It was easy to go through good road all the way but difficult to come back because all of us were so reluctant to leave. Recommended to go again and again!

If you or the kids are jaded, want to go out but hate the malls and theaters, and are looking for a way to recharge yourself, just plan a visit to the Prodigal farms, at an easily accessible location in Noida (Google maps drop you very accurately).

I have gone to their weekend brunches a couple of times, but going more often is always in my wish-list. These visits have been even more precious, considering NCR's fickle weather. But on a winter noon, with the sun out, I would be nowhere else but at the Prodigal Farms, enjoying a spot of real farm life, a haven for all things green and natural and organic and sustainable. Almost forgetting that I am still in center of our urban jungle, that is NCR. Enjoying feeding the goats and seeing the starfruits ripening on the trees. The way things should forever be.

Thanks a lot to Puneet and Neha, for making this happen, and staying strong in spite of all the challenges.

Regarding the brunch -
The food is really good, there is tons of it, with global as well as Indian courses, then to top it is the feeling that it was grown right around where you are sitting, makes it too special for words. That is what is most unique about this place. Something which makes it an experience far beyond an exquisite 5-star restaurant with a Michelin starred menu. And for those to whom it matters, Prodigal farms style of thinking and working, is also very on point with the current trends in global food industry.

Regarding the place -
It is a real farm, growing ~60 kinds of vegetables in a natural way, which means not even so-called organic pesticides are used. And just to be clear, it is not a well-manicured lawn with fancy flowers and palm trees, it is a fully-functioning farm with vegetables, fruits and herbs growing around you. Puneet and Neha also take you through a farm-tour, and the kids get to enjoy some earthy farm activities.

I organized my daughters birthday party looking at all the reviews .
However it is just an average place run by a couple .

I was particularly disappointed when tall promises were made for the party but none were lived up to .

One can’t rip you off in the name of “Organic Farming “

I tried to share the feedback with the couple who of course couldn’t care less , so sharing here .

It’s an average farm but being commercially sold for various dinners and kid’s experiences . Which honestly were nothing great

Not a well maintained farm
Food was average
Service not as per the amount they charge you
Bathroom dirty
Plates got over during the party and were replaced by dirty paper plates for the adults . Dirty means they had fungus on them however the couple claimed that’s the best you can get at a farm 😁
Limited food supply
They charge as much as a top caterer of Delhi with below average service and limited food

Plus they are not open to suggestions as they believe this is the best that a farm can offer . Well with whatever limited exposure they have had it seems a bit arrogant .

Our trip to prodigal farms was really delightful. We were taken care of by Puneet and his team and served with amazing seven course meal. The farm tour was very informative and Puneet shared every bit of knowledge around farm upkeep and answered all our questions around organic farming. I would highly recommend a visit to prodigal farms.

A farm brunch with a lovely farm tour and tons of green activities, what else do you need for a joyful weekend getaway? I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. My family loved the natural fresh food made with ingredients not known to us earlier. I tried the herbs and edible flowers which were equally tasty to my surprise. What I liked most is how they have some activity or the other planned for every age group.

I genuinely recommend you all to at least visit them once and give it a try cause once you go there, you would want to come back again :)
Thank you Prodigals for hosting us :)

It’s a surreal experience to be served a 7 course plant based meal which literally follows the farm to table trend.
Spending a Sunday with your family gorging on delicious meals and taking a walk around the farms with the people kindly walking you through all the steps is a pleasure and definitely a must visit for all!
