Some fine pottery on show but the descriptions are all in Chinese. Clearly there are some very old pieces but it was hard to work out how old..

We stopped here on 2 occasions. The first was actually to cool off and rest our feet after several hours of walking to the top of Yushan Mountain. The history and many of the artifacts on display make it well worth the effort. Unfortunately I can't read Chinese so I couldn't get the full benefit of the scrolls and other literature that was displayed.

A small museum in down town Changshu. There is no engelish explanation anywhere, so it is simply looking at the items. There is some pottery, chinese drawings and fans. Nice but that is all.

History of Changshu with some cool maps, jade display, fan display, and some other artifacts. The day we went, it was free. We only spent 30 minutes there tops, and then headed next door to the Changshu Library (which was actually much more exiting)!
