If you like different views of primates, this is a good Cameroonian example of a few different examples. The Drill/Mandrill are the star for me! These are the colorfully and actively moving monkey that's exhibited. Non nationals pay 3,000 CFA and cameras are allowed. There's an extra fee for video cameras. It's only 5 mins away from the city center,... More

Seen a lot of gorillas, baboons, drills, etc. Even saw 2 Duiker bucks that is well known in SA! The area is fairly well maintained with good staff taking proper care and rehabilitate. Very nice little cafeteria with burgers, pizzas, delicious yoghurt smoothies, etc! A must see if you are around and a nature lover.

My expectations was too high compare to the reality. We did the visit without a guide assign to explain us. Animals seem to be well treated and feed. Was really expecting to see lion, panthers...i think the management need to work hard to bring something special over here. My visit was short, but nice

The Limbe Wildlife Center has a huge sample of African primates.....the only place to have Drills in captivity (and they have a lot of them), Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Mandrrills....the guides are very knowledgeable and the center is well managed (for Africa). We really enjoyed out time there and could easily understand their approach to education and saving the primates.

We had a great afternoon at the wildlife center. I had seen it from the road and heard about it for years as I have visited but never stopped in. It was much more than I expected. We got a personal tour and loved how the animals got along with the tour guides. If you're in Limbe this is a... More

Loved this place. Went there with my daughter and my nephews and nieces and we had a good time. Two prices: one for locals and one for foreigners. There are some donations boxes and you should really donate if you can. The team there is doing a great job to maintain all the spieces alive.

We lived the sanctuary! The animals look healthy. I would have liked to see more straw etc for them to make a their bed at night. We had a guide Joe he was vey informative and really knew the individual animals. I will look into volunteering here in the future. Some very sad stories behind these magnificent animals

This was a very interesting tour, with a variety of apes, and some other things like snakes and lots of weaver birds. There are two areas of chimps, and one is a cross a river/stream that runs through the center. Keep an eye on those chimps across the river--the guide had no sooner said that that an angry male might... More
