A really lovely drive on this wonderful road. It really is stunning but very different to the other scenery on south Island..

Driving along Lindis Pass can see nice view but I won't consider it is the most beautiful route in NZ. you may want to stop in some points for photos.

Lovely driving on a good day - fortunately not too icey first thing in the morning, though we took it slowly just in case. The scenery was fabulous.

There is a nice lookout (well marked) halfway along this scenic pass, roads can be windy. Must pass this when visiting Mt Cook and Tekapo

A couple of scenic points but the pass does not have any stop-off points to take photos. This may be a safety thing as the road has a few twists and turns which makes it unsafe to stop and start.

Quite exposed and really cold, but a nice spot to stop and stretch your legs and look at the surrounding area. Quite beautiful. Very shot walk to the lookout.

Lovely drive with spectacular views after a late snow fall . The views were very pretty . Roads are well maintained, but take it slow

This was our first time driving through Lindis Pass. We were impressed with the condition of the road (much better than North Island roading). Stunning scenery.

A nice drive through tussock land. We went in May before the risk of snow as it would be rather bleak to be snowbound in the middle of nowhere
