I've passed the Clan Macpherson Museum countless times over the past 30 years or so, and never taken the time to visit ...until now. Small, very well laid out, and thoroughly informative material - a helpful, well-spoken and informed Highlander was available to answer our...More

A lovely little visit, the staff are friendly and helpful, although we didn't have any children with us, we noticed that the staff gave them activities to do around this museum.

Popped into this free museum with our 6 and 11 year old boys. Very friendly welcome, informative DVD and plenty to look at and read. Wasn't great for the youngest but there were swords and things for him to look at. If you want to...More

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. What a shame we weren't able to entertain your youngest at the time. If you are ever up this way again, please drop in again and bring the children as I'm sure we can make...More

Not to be missed. The sign for the Clan MacPherson Museum is bold and visible from the road. It is well worth a visit to this historically packed exhibit. My son and I spent over an hour reading about one of our clans, talking to...More

great museum, friendly staff. It is free entry, but I bought something to support them. Even though my maiden name is Macpherson, I still learnt loads about my clan. Really worth a visit, even if you haven't got any Scottish ancestors.

Although it's only the ground floor of a house you could spend hours in this free museum. Lots of interesting things to see and a lot of reading. I can see how a MacPherson may want to read every word but it's a bit much...More

Thank you very much for your kind words. It really means a lot to us to know that we are catering to all our visitor's needs. We are deceptively larger on the inside than outside, as we have made clever use of all space in...More

The clan Mac.Phearson is located in this glen so it is only natural for their museum to be nearby. It tells the history of the clan through their eyes throughout the ages. It is worthwhile to visit but only essential if you are related to...More

The museum is definitely a 'Must See' for Macphersons as it does have so much information. We have tried to make it interesting for all visitors whether members of the Clan or not, and hopefully we were successful in your eyes. Thank you for stopping...More
