The falls are pretty and the walk to the lost village is nice also the path is very wide for the quarry vehicles so it’s a little industrial. After the village the path runs long enough for you to feel committed and then peters to nothing leaving you in a barren boggy field.

We kept the fences to our right and walked round until we had the hydro viaduct on our right and popped out at the new holiday homes. Go left up the big track and then I take you back to a signpost.

The waterfall is close to the car park, which is handy. Don't expect the Niagra Falls, but a lovely wee waterfall in a nice setting. The walk to the Lost Village is ok. Be careful if you try the circular route. Due to a lack of sign posts, after the village, we ended up tramping across the heather bogs under the pylons, till we got back on the path.

This is a beautiful, tucked away place in one of Highland Scotland's verdant forests. Take plenty of photos but be sure to watch your footing, or you can slip and fall off of steep places.

Came to visit the falls, one guidebook told us to park at Lagan Wolfe mountain bike however you cannot get to the falls from here.
There is a leaflet giving walks from this car park but they're not marked, we ended up going on one of the MountainBike trails ,Strictly NOT advisable, the mountain bikes come quite fast and the tracks are quite narrow and steep in places.
For the falls park in Druid an Aird car park which is difficult to see if going west on the A86.

Only a short walk from our lodge. The falls are pretty but not worth a long walk or drive. Viewing platform is currently closed for repairs.

Lovely waterfalls. Really short walk from the care park which takes you to a viewing platform. From there on you can walk further along the path and go for the wood walk but we just had a quick stop here. Really nice and glad we visited. The A889 was shut (coming from the South towards Aviemore) so we took the wee single road track through Glentruim which is definitely recommended.

Nice little waterfall with viewing platform on upper path, and a small beach on the lower path. Short walk from the car park to the falls.

Be aware that the map location shown on Trip Advisor is not accurate at all. This is not in Newtonmore, but about 11 miles West on the A86. If you use the WhatThreeWords app the location is ///identify.political.massive

Wild camping with the family at pattack falls, few lovely spots. Can get chilly at night so remember and wear layers. The ground isn’t flat either so you will need airbeds/mats for a decent nights sleep, the rewards will be worth it
There is a lovely spot an a small beach where the river pools and is just stunning. Very quiet at night and there’s parking available, you don’t have to walk too far to be in the midst of this however for the more adventurous there’s plenty walks. Just remember to leave no trace and respect the environment. Recommend stove and not a campfire as this is a heavily wooded area although there are some parts where a campfire would be ideal. Enjoy!

Well worth stopping to see and as you walk from the car park you can hear the Falls get louder and louder on your approach. There are great photo opportunity to be had here.
