If you are in Comillas it is hard to miss this small cemetery by the sea. It is close to town and the beach. It is up on a hill with views of the sea. An easy walk from the center of town or the beach.

If you visit Comillas you will probably be there to see el Capricho or its beautiful beach. However, I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you visit the nearby cemetery a short distance away. It's on a hill overlooking the sea. You cant mistake it because the building is crowned by an impressive white angel. The cemetery is build inside... More

It's a beautiful place, overlooking the sea and with a beautiful statue of an angel looking over everyone.

A visit to this pretty cemetery is a must if you are in Comillas, its only a short stroll from El Capricho so if you are walking through town make sure to make this detour. It has a lovely atmosphere and overlooks the sea, which always adds to the feeling of a place like this.

Well worth the short stroll up the hill. The cemetery overlooked by the beautiful angel is quite romantic but tiny.

Built in an old church it reveals some of the town's history. A great location it offers views over the town and out to sea. Not the most amazing angel but location, location, location.

Haven't really visited many cemeteries as I try to avoid them! However this one was quite atmospheric and architectural. On a dark night with the Angel hovering above could be pretty scary...

For some reason the cemetery with its beautiful architecture and sculpture impressed us even more than Palacio de Sobrellano and El Capricho. Don't miss!

I actually liked this cemetery, but in comparison to the grand cemeteries in New Orleans, this one is okay. If not for the view I'd have been less impressed overall.

Not a fan of cemeteries myself, but t'other half is fascinated by them, so went along. A nice spot above the town and quite interesting. Would I go out of my way to see it next time? No, not really.
