It was a nice place for an evening meal. Good food and a pleasant atmosphere, good value. Worth a visit.

We were there in June 2015 and the bar was closed and for sale. Their is very little alternative choice for bars/restaurants to visit in Cancajos. The beach bar was our preferred choice

Please note: I was there in December 2012! I just had to review this little gem now I finally signed up for Trip Advisor. Was visiting La Palma with my girlfriend at the time. As it was a bit too chilly and windy to seriously hang out at the beach, this nice little bar proved to be a great alternative. We'd usually arrive just before noon and hang out till 5 pm where the super nice bar lady Terese's shift would end and my girlfriend and I would be moderately to seriously plastered, and in need of a good solid dinner at a restaurant. From the first moment we stepped into the bar we were warmly greeted by Terese. My girlfriend and her would soon form a bond and were laughing and chatting as best they could even though Terese only spoke Spanish and neither of us did. We'd get small plates of tapas on occasion free of charge, which were special for us I guess, since we did not see other guests (mostly locals) get this service. Alcohol was liberally applied to the cocktails we ordered and packed some serious punch. Sitting outside you'd also have a great view over the bay and Santa Cruz. All in all we could not have asked for more!

Great little bar for a chill out, lovely friendly bar lady, cheap food and drinks. Great little sun trap in seating on the steps and good service.
