Nice and informative time

The old presses and the museum are great, but you have to meet the owner who is really in love with what he does. Said by another olive oil producer!

A tour of this Masseria is a must do if you are visiting Ostuni and the area. 3000 year old monumental olive trees, an excellent guided tour (exclusive to me daughter and I) untouched medieval olive oil workings and a fascinating insight into the development of the olive oil industry around Ostuni. This trip was the icing on the cake... More

Wonderful tour in English and a wonderful host. This olive farm is organic and has some olive trees over 2,000 years old. Worth arranging a tour in advance in your preferred language - allow 90 minutes to walk among the trees and to see antiquities and understand olive oil production from 3 diverse generations. Tasting is enlightening. Has impacted all... More

Well worth seeking this old Masseria out ... interesting and amusing guided tour of the olive oil making history ... and a walk around some of the 2000 year old "monumental" trees in the surrounding olive groves ... each one tagged and linked by satellite in an Italian university ... so don't to nick one! A nice little shop too.... More

After reading lots of reviews booking an olive grove tour with Masseria Brancati was an easy decision. Once on the tour we were not disappointed at all. Our tour guide Pietro was engaging and very knowledgeable, it is very refreshing to meet a guide who retains their passion for the tour and for €10 each was very worth the money.... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, only one and a half hours, for 10 euros. Great English speaking guide who walked us round the property and olive making. The ancient trees were just amazing and its great that all the previous equipment and methods are kept alive to show people. Highly recommended, great value for money.

We read the reviews and couldn't believe it was even better than people wrote! We met the owner who was so gracious in welcoming us. Our tour guide was delightful. Cannot believe how the family has preserved so much to show how olive oil has been pressed for hundreds of years. Still hard for me to imagine the olive trees... More

Visited the Masseria with the family week and all really enjoyed the hour or so long tour conducted by Pietro. As many have said before it is a very good introduction to how olive oil has been produced through the ages, particularly interesting as we were staying in a converted trappeto (oil mill) so it really brought it to life...
