I was really impressed with this museum. Really nicely done. Lots of great info and a neat look at Luther's hometown, his family life, and his upbringing. Cool to be so near to where he was born. I thought the museum did a very nice...More

The place is NOT the house where Martin Luther was born - as it burned down more than 300 years ago. It is a small, new museum with some Luther artifacts. Fair entrance fee - especially if you combine with Luthers Sterbehaus a few minutes...More

While one learns a great deal about the history of Luther's family through this museum, it is an impressive source of information about the world into which Luther was born. How mining was done and how people lived. Our guide was very helpful.

We were here as part of a Luther and Reformation tour. It was very interesting, with many historic artifacts. I enjoyed the section on the mining industry, I had no idea that this industry powered the region during Luther's life.

This old house not only opens up the architecture and living conditions of the time, but there is a lot of Luther's family history on display. This helps you to see Luther as a more complete individual.

An interesting exhibition, that I learnt quite a lot from about Luther's family background. I don't believe that the building was the actual one where Luther was born, but a (slightly) later one built on the site.

Действительно интересное место, мне помогло разобраться в хитросплетениях католической и протестантской церквей. Вход - недорогой, так что вперед! Потратьте полчаса и несколько евро чтобы узнать об этом действительно великом реформаторе. Really interesting place, helped me to understand the intricacies of the Catholic and Protestant churches....More

We visited both the birth home and death home of Martin Luther while in Eisleben. Both have been rebuilt but the museums are very interesting and informative. Be sure to stop in the church where Luther was baptized near his birth home--it has been modernized...More

Well......I hate giving this an average, because I think it was just that they're not for me. They both had far more information than I would ever have thought. I enjoyed seeing inside the actual birth house to get a feeling for living in that...More
