This 'Schoner Turm' is the east town gateway of the oldest town wall. It was rebuilt in the 15th century. You cannot miss it if you stand with your back to the Marien fountain in the town centre.

This very nice tower was built in the old town wall. It is told, that there was flat inside the tower, where today is a small museum. It crowns the Main Square of the city.
