Nice temple and Bhagwati devi idol is very beautiful. However the fort in which the temple is located is not at all maintained. Visit only for the temple and the sea view.

We had been wanting to visit this temple after our daughter’s wedding, to take the Goddesses blessings for the newly married couple as well as all of us. We reached by hiring an autorikshaw and also requesting him to take us back to the hotel. The temple is clean and nicely maintained and we could take the Darshan quite peacefully as there was no rush. We could take some nice pictures of the Ratnadurga Fort as well as the Arabian Sea from here. King Theba of Burma has presented a mirror to this temple and it’s on display. The entrance of the temple has a nice warning for the tourists that the temple will be closed at the given time and the Priest will not be responsible if someone is trapped inside.
