Thr Rajas seat and park at madikere is attraction mainly for kids, though all who visit here will try a go. It's basically a park. With Raja seat facing the village. Better to be in the evening, with musical fountain at around 8 pm

Its essentially a sunset point where you should reach at least 20 minutes prior to the sunset. If you enjoy the view of the mountains this is the place for you. Amazing view on three sides. Its a bliss watching the sun go down the hills.

We reached here late evening. We missed the sunset view because it was already getting dark . Should have reached half an hour earlier, say by 5 pm. There was a huge crowd and hardly any place to stand near the viewpoint. Lot of stalls outside if you want to have tea/coffee and some light snacks like corn. Do note that none of these eatables are allowed inside the park so make sure to finish eating before entry or else leave it for the end.

If you love watching the sunset, this is the place to be. Its a lovely garden with a lot of benches from where you can watch the sunset. There is a 15 minute musical fountain show every day which starts at 7 pm on weekdays and 7.15 pm on weekends. Nice place to spend the evening.

A nice place to stop at sunset and take in the view but it is very commercialised and busy. There's a load of fairly random statues in the park some of which make sense e.g. rhino, elephant, but others that are just a bit random like dinosaurs and rabbits. Not entirely sure what to make of that!

A place to watch the sunset in Madikeri. It has a good well maintained garden with a lot of benches. There have a musical fountain show every day which starts around 7 pm though I did not watched it. A nice place to spend time with your family or friends and enjoy evening. They have some paid adventure activities also.

When you are on a vacation to coorg you enjoy the climate more as there are not much of tourist points to visit. Rajas seat is one point where you can enjoy with family. Your kids will enjoy the statues of animals and birds. There is a good park to go around, towers to have good valley view and good walking space. Enjoy the breeze even when the temperature is high outside. May take an hour to go round. Do not miss to visit the Amman temple adjacent to the park.

Raja's Seat is located in the heart of Madikeri (Coorg) city. Once you enter the Garden, you are amazed by its beauty ! There are colourful splash of multitude of flowers in bloom and the breathtaking scene with lovely aroma of flowers makes you awe stuck. As you go down few stairs, there is sunset view point and one gets mesmerised to see sun going down in the mountains and slowly darkness engulfs the whole area.At 7.30 pm or so there is light and water show. Lot of tourists throng this place to enjoy the colourful light show. Its must for all visitors coming to Coorg to enjoy this lovely garden with rare flowers and huge topiary designs of animal shape

We went there at 9 in the morning on a day when it was still misty at that hour. As we waited, the skies cleared and the sun burnt the mists away, to reveal a stunning view of a valley hundreds of meters below. It was one of the most magical experiences of our lives. Astonishing, exhilarating, splendid. Over the next three days, we went there every morning and evening, only to experience a different spectacular view each time. Definitely a bucket list experience - Come to Madikeri if only for this!

Located within the town, the place seems to one of the most popular hangout spots for tourists as well as for locals. We visited couple of times and found the place crowded every time. It is a well-maintained garden that offers nice valley view, however when we visited, it was foggy and hence could not get much view. The garden also offers certain activities like zip lining, toy train etc. In the evening, we witnessed musical fountain, which was though small and with music in local language, was enjoyable. The place presents a refreshing setting and enjoyable environment especially for family. An ideal place for leisurely stroll and relax.
