A lovely hike on a paved path through steep rocky terrain following a burbling river with lots of pretty waterfalls! The golden leaves were fluttering in the sunlight and the breeze.

I do subscribe to all given good scores, nevertheless it was a pity the weather, or even the clima was impacting the river flow. According lines drawn on the stones by the quantity of water the river was provided, it should have been an incredible...More

Decided to have a look at the Gorges d'Heric by chance. Excellent walk of about 10k in total. Small cafe at the top. Amazing views. Lovely food served at the entrance. Well worth a visit

So long as the weather isn't too hot, this is a lovely walk. All uphill so take good walking shoes. The village of Mons La Trivalle is just along the road and has a good café/bar at which to stop for refreshments.

Our grand children love this place as did our children before them. We have been visiting here since 1983 and no one gets bored of the breathtaking scenery and endless rock pools to bathe and go'damming'. A fantastic family day out.
