We visited early this month. Although there had been snow a week before we arrived it had been sunny for three or four days before we got there. The walk to the waterfall was very boggy and after a short time we gave up knowing...More

Despite a few days of rain the forest walks were enjoyable albeit slightly sodden in some parts. Be aware of streams that have overflown due to excessive rain

So, I’m certainly glad we went on this ride, but Easy Rider was a stretch for my 7 year old’s abilities. Do not expect only gradual, easy grades. Much of it is single track, you would not be able to fit a baby trailer, and...More

Though it is mainly evergreen there are still lots of Autumn colours. Good walking tracks of varying lengths, all easy - mostly flat. Good mountain biking tracks separate from the walking ones. Very pleasant wander.

Enjoyed the many walking tracks. Would recommend as a way to spend an hour or two. Tracks well signposted.

This is a fun hike. You can take two routes to get to the magnificent water fall. The falls route is easy and quicker. The other is a tougher hike and takes a bit longer. The views are about the same. The falls is worth...More

A short visit due to wet weather. Thick forest with tall trees. Interesting walks and creek crossings. Good photo opportunities.

The forest area is a really nice area to walk around with stunning views and scenery. The map we purchased from the i-Site was perhaps not quite up to scratch or my navigating has fallen down. Still a great place to walk around
