This was one of the wineries I visited as part of a wine tour. It was probably my least favorite of the day. The host was lovely but I found the wines not to my taste. As a five star rated winery I was disappointed...More

We were very fortunate to have the place to ourselves (along with the funny and informative Kim). Beautiful vineyard. Awesome wines - oh how I wish I could’ve afforded a few more bottles. Just one case this time. Long may wineries like this flourish and...More

It's hard to review this place as the woman serving us wouldn't allow us to try more than five wines. We went at 10:30am in the morning, it was the first winery we had visited and she was overly concerned about how many wines we...More

Hi Monique In regards to your review, we are disappointing that you didn't enjoy your visit. We ask people what they would like to try and to follow the tasting notes from top to bottom, choosing which wines they would like to. If you wished...More

Returned after an earlier visit in April to buy some more wine. Very helpful & informative owner. Thanks. Lovely puppy at the door to greet me, loved it. We enjoy the range of wine from our “special occasion wine” to the everyday- great selection. Thanks.

We were there with a group of friends for the very pleasant lunch function. The food was excellent. They appear to have favoured great types that are more relevant to the soils and climate of Stanthorpe we found all of them very drinkable. They are...More

Thanks John. The StrangeBirds are definitely food wines and match well. Our soils and climate go very well with the Mediterranean wines. Lucky we love food and wine! PS the new Durif is out!

Nothing better than food and wine matches. You shouldn't talk wine without food and food without wine! Lucky we love both!
