Beautiful landscape and view. Water was not clear and there were a couple of dead fish. Broken glass and dishes on beach. Lots of shade and trees. Not a busy beach.

There are gazebos and BBQ pits you can reserve to celebrate a birthday or simply have a good time with your friends and family. They just finished the construction of bathroom facilities and have ample parking available (free of charge). From here, it is only a short walk to Medio Mundo Beach which is also very nice (more secluded). If you go during a time where algae is laying on the sand, drive to Seven Seas Beach instead. The waters are calm, warm and clear. A beach for all ages... We went on a weekday, so it wasn't busy at all. Might be different on weekends.

Beach has potential but whoever is responsible for taking care of the grounds has obviously let it slip. Garbage cans are everywhere for use but people just throw trash everywhere. Sun shade buildings are falling apart. A good full day of trash pickup and a little maintenance could bring this beach back to it's former glory.

Yes, it does have a lot of seaweed mostly at shore. There are parts where the water is very nice and clear. It has a few gazebos if you want one with a good location (close to the clear waters) get there early, specially if your going on a weekend. Keep in mind there's no security,no lifeguards, no bathrooms (2 porta potties which where locked) but it's free entrance and it is a nice beach with less crowds. There are also some food vendors.

My second visit to this beach. It is not my favorite since water is cloudy due to strong waves. Place have some "kioskos" to shelter from sun and rain available for users. Normally it is clean. Sand is dark brown. It is popular for water sports.
It is not my favorite beach, but it keeps clean because it is kind of difficult to find.

We explored a number of beaches during our ten day stay in Fajardo- and this one was a family favorite . It did have a lot of seaweed washed up- but we were there right after several heavy storms.

it is free and has good parking.

The waters had stunning color and nice low waves - our older teens loved swimming there and Granny (me ) enjoyed the sloping sand and the nice shelters with BBQ's - I could doze or swim - we spent hours there! It was crowded with local folks during the weekend , but weekday it was almost empty.

Later we explored on down the beach to the right and discovered a wonderful "hidden " bay - very private. my understanding fro a local family is that it was a military property , just released for public use about two years ago - very lovely after a winding walk thorough mangroves and white sand- the vista opens up to a striking view and quiet beach. So this was a wonderful "Two-fer"

Bathrooms are porta potties- it is not a up scale beach-there are trash receptacles , bbq racks and nice shelters, but doesn't look like it is highly maintained.

Personally the beauty and good water made it very special -

Clean beach, rough waters, a ton of sea grass or kelp. This beach could be fabulous with a little clean up of the sea grass or sea kelp. It was clean from trash, a little secluded, no life guard. Beautiful water, however I wouldn't swim in the deep waters, once again, the water was a little rough.
