If you are looking for gorgeous and high-quality items, this is your place! Filled with beautiful coats, sweaters, scarves, kilts, everything you can imagine. All locally made. As you’d expect for items of this quality, they don’t come cheap but they’ll last you forever. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the drive to look around and maybe treat yourself!

If you need something tartan, woollen or even a jaggy jacket this is the place for you. Aimed fairly and squarely at the tourist market, don’t expect budget pricing, but our friends from across the Atlantic will love it!

Lochcarron Weavers is an amazing little gem of a shop located just outside outside the village.

They have an amazing variety of stock and all at top quality. The staff are wonderfully attentive and Joy who manages the store is a great help and very informative.

Make sure you have a spare hour to spend browsing in Lochcarron Weavers Shop. A friendly welcome and attentive staff who were more than happy to let us wander through the shop at our own pace. There is a very interesting display of a Hattersley loom and some historical information. We didn’t feel under any pressure to buy and although I hadn’t intended to buy anything I couldn’t resist a rug in a contemporary tartan design. Since returning home the rug has been admired my many and used frequently!!

Hidden away down a small road you find this wonderful shop. I saw many reviews on this and we decided to go and get some traditional scottish woven items. Great buying from this shop.

During the Covid 19 lock down I was helped by Joy who emailed me over a number of days with answers to lots of my questions. She was patient and helpful whilst I made my decisions. I am totally delighted with the quality of the tartan footstool and extra fabric I purchased. It was delivered in perfect condition and she even sent a follow up email just to check I had received the parcel safely. Huge thanks to Lochcarron weavers and Joy, I hope to visit your shop one day when we are able to travel once more. Excellent customer service in a difficult time, thank you!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It was a pleasure being able to help you and I am so pleased that you love the stool. We had a technical glitch after our communications with you and unfortunately have lost your details, please send us an email so that we can keep in touch.

Dropped by with my in laws as we have visited here many times, hubbie had a waistcoat made, I bought a ladies kilt and I was treated to an angora Teddy.
My in laws fell in love with the tartan stools handmade from whisky barrels. I bought a coo. The shop exceeds in tartan gifts and fabric but also stocks many other items.
My in laws bought 2 of the stools but struggled to choose which ones, they were all fabulous.

A couple of people had told us about this place and as it was only a few minutes in the car from our cottage we took a look.
Its bigger than it looks from the outside
Great little place for everything tartan but there is also quite a bit of history attached to this little place and its documented inside. Well worth a read.
Some very nice clothing in the shop.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
