This was a lovely little trip on the minuture train, round the golf course to the park and back, and worth every penny of the £4:50 our granddaughter loved it, all the golfers waving as we passed and just the right speed for her not...More

Best part is the station at Alford with interesting pictures depicting history of rail in the area. Train journey is relatively short with main part travelling around edge of golf course. We thought it was a bit overpriced compared to similar. £4.50 return for adult...More

The Alford Valley Railway is an established success. It is a delight for all ages and transports passengers through woodlands into `Haughton Park where pleasant walks can be taken.

The railway runs from Alford to a nearby park via a golf course. The park has plenty of well maintained childrens' play equipment.

A little train to the park and back with a good view of the golf course. Would not pay full price for this attraction as all you see is about 3 mins of golf course and some trees and some fences.

The kids love this train. If your staying at Haughton House Holiday Park, this is a great way to go back and forth into Alford. I would recommend getting an annual or weekly pass as it works out a lot cheaper.
