Great caves, tired attraction, great 'circus'

The caves are great, the tour time is about right. The attraction itself, I wouldn't personally recommend. The location is lovely but I think for the ticket price wookey hole is... read more

I went with my daughter and two grandchildren aged 3 and 4. It was a lovely day with lots to do. My daughter was going to go on her own but thankfully didn't as she wouldn't have managed the caves alone with the 2 children. It may have said it on the website but I didn't see any warning about... The caves are great, the tour time is about right. The attraction itself, I wouldn't personally recommend. The location is lovely but I think for the ticket price wookey hole is tired and a bit depressing, there aren't really as many activities as it appears to show on the website. The food in the cafe is awful. Avoid. The circus... More

We have a 14 and 9 year old so normally find it difficult to find venues that we all enjoy however this was definitely one of the best. The caves were very interesting and awe inspiring. The 4D cinema was good fun. The circus, performed by children from the local area, who attend the circus school, was brilliant. Some of... More

We visited the caves which were really interesting, our 6 yr old was little scared to start with but soon loved it! tip wear flat waterproof shoes with grip as floor quite wet and skittle slippery at times! We then stopped for a picnic near the fairy garden/dinosaurs. Then onto the 4d cinema which was fab! Just a shame the... More

We went with a 14, 12 and 6 year old during the school holidays and stayed about 4.5 hours. We loved the caves, they are absolutely breathtaking. The 4D cinema is also really fun and so is the circus. The mirror maze was hilarious and had us in stitches. We had to give up on the mini golf as there... More

I read the reviews and didn't expect much. However the trip turned out to be fab. The guided tour of the caves was the best bit. The only problem was that our group was VERY large and if you got stuck towards the end of the group then it was impossible to hear the guide. We really did struggle to... More

I have been here 3 times now and i always learn something new!! The cave guide was really funny so made it really enjoyable to listen to the facts! The children were totally engrossed and really enjoyed their day! Especially as there is an ice cream parlour 👍🏻👍🏻

we had a great half-day here with two kids (6 & 2). The caves are great, and the tour is definitely long enough for children. I think the reviews calling the other attractions a bit tacky are a bit unfair. The soft play was good and well-kept, the penny arcade was interesting and good fun, and our 2yo LOVED the... More

Dreadful, the highlight of our trip was McDonald's. such a shame as we really did have great expectations. It seems to me that these attractions are purely to extract as much money from under stimulated visitors and provide a lacklustre experience of tack and cheap effects.
