Small local museum....well laid out displays and contents. Very informative about Teignmouth and Shaldon history...Limited opening in the winter ...popular venue.

We visited here in late September and really enjoyed it – it’s inexpensive entry (under £3), and there is loads to look at. The (voluntary) staff were brilliant, looking after our bags, answering questions, and generally being very friendly. We are stewards at this brilliant small museum - a comprehensive history of Teignmouth & Shaldon. A modern layout, lots of 'hands on' - especially for children. A 'must see' when in Teignmouth.

Teignmouth is a lovely town and beach resort there are many shops and beaches it also has a harbour which is had a small beach and plenty of pubs overlooking the sea,shaldon is the other side of the estuary and is just as nice,the day we went there was a regatta on which was great fun to watch we then... Plenty to talk about and learn from. staff are lovely, helpful, and very informative.. My son (14) was more than kept on his toes...that about says it all :) highly reccomended

I hadnt been to Teignmouth since i was a child but will be going back. Lovely long stretch of beach with a Lido. Lovely walk along the sea front with lots of modern art displays to look at. Very clean. Toilets and carpark close by and reasonably priced £4.50 for the day. Very busy so come early. Lots of places... More
