We enjoyed our wine tasting and tour on a rainy Sunday morning. Our guide spoke English beautifully and clearly, even though this was first tour in English. We enjoyed the wine so much we bought quite a few bottles.

We made a reservation ahead of time via their website for both the wine tour, olive oil tour, and a lunch so everything was in order. The correspondence was prompt. We were there in May hence no on-going production for either but at least we...More

Lunch at Herdade do Esporao needs to be done the correct way. They serve only lunch and the highlights are the 5- or 7-course creations. Our mistake? We didn’t have a reservation. We expected a 2+ hour lunch, but we were told when we arrived...More

I have been in Herdade do Esporao for the visit 13 years ago and its quality was good. The old glory times are gone in Esporao. The visit price and tasting is a 'tourist trap' - 15 euro?!!. The visit quality and information are poor...More

We arrived early for the wine tour. It was nice to see the tractor come in piled high with grapes. The process continued, grapes turned in large container with left overs going out to another wagon for other uses. Our guide was very informative taking...More
