This was a fun site to see. People are usually posing by this statue, in a light, fun spirited way. The claim to fame is the song Volare meaning to fly. The town and it’s surrounding are well worth seeing as well. So while you’re...More

Although we knew the song, we did not know that it was a Eurovision Song Contest entry or that amazingly it DIDN'T win! This statue commemorates a man forgotten to time except for here, but a song that everyone knows and sings! You MUST see...More

This is Polignano's claim to fame! If you don't know the famous song he sang, then you must go do your homework and look it up :o)

A tribute to the singer born in the city. Located next to the see, infront the stairs to go down the water, rocks. Great photo opportunities there and you can see the old town on the cliff.

Enjoy a really special experience walking carefully along the cliff edge watching the waves crash against the rocks. The wide steps up the the sculpture are really cool.
