Couldn't have asked for a nicer castle to visit. Loved that they have kept it in the traditional set up so you get a feel for life in the 1500s. Loved it here.

It was raining when we visited the castle but we enjoyed it even more for this reason: it has been like jumping in the medieval era! Wonderful sightseeing from the top

If you are in Gorizia, you should not miss a visit to the Castle, a well-maintained historical fortress dating back to the 11th century. All the spaces along the visit are well organised and explained. The views from the top of the Castle are breathtaking....More
