Must love rocky boat rides and steep steep stairs!! I was fortunate to get on this tour as the previous days tour was cancelled due to choppy seas. The history behind the Skellig is fascinating and the view is breathtaking.

On the day of our scheduled 9AM landing tour, the weather was beautiful, but the seas were ROUGH. Casey's own boat wasn't going to risk it, but they kept in constant contact with us throughout the morning and got us seats on another boat that...More

One of the most amazing places I've ever visited -- a once-in-a-lifetime experience if you're lucky enough to go. Casey's tours was great. The boat was safe and as comfortable as possible given the trip on open waters. The 2 boat operators we had were...More

We were very fortunate to be able to land on Skelligsrock on September 15. The landing was closed for ten days due to rough seas caused by hurricane Irma we were told. The hour long ride to Skelligsrock had 6 foot waves which causes seasickness...More

Took the tour today that goes around Skellig Michael and the smaller island and eventhough it was raining, it was wonderous. Being that its 8 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean, the Captain (Jimmy) was well prepared to keep us dry as possible. Two and...More

The crew were fantastic. We had tumultuous seas on the 1 hour ride (each way) with swells of 8-12 feet and as a result a few folks on the boat got sea sick. The crew did a great job providing what support they could and...More

We booked this on the 1st day available for booking way back early in the year (March?). By that evening, the bookings were filled for most of the year if not all because of the attraction and connection with the last Star Wars movie. The...More

Casey's is just one of many boat operators authorised to land on Skellig Michael. According to their website, u can book eco (non-landing) tours now for the 2018 season & sometime mid to end of February for the landing tour.

It takes about an hour to get up to the top. You need to take a water break half way up. I would not take a 5 year old up there. The stairs are uneven and there’s no railing. It’s not worth it. Thanks
