A wonderful, easy to walk to beach, with a lovely cove, clear waters and great snorkelling, but sadly with one beach hut/cafe manned by a sullen man who seems to have coffee machine a fridge for beer, water and a poor selection of sandwiches, along with a freezer to house the ice cream.

Walked it to this beach from Agia Pelagia on a very hot day but worth the walk - beautiful quiet beach with just one small beach bar

Agia Pelagia is a peaceful location with beautiful scenery all around, it looks out over the Mediterranean, Heraklion and spectacular mountains whichever way you look. The people are friendly, restaurants are lovely and the food exquisite, the neighbouring village leaves a little to be desired, it is a bit run down by the austerity measures implemented by the Greek government... It is not often to hear good music from th e beach bar. Brothers who drive this place have a good taste. Non-alcho drinks where well served and the price was okey. The sea is alwais number one of course and it was beautifull.

Bit of a trek from the Sea Side Resort where we were staying - but worth it compared to the other beach that was nearer to the hotel. Friendly couple of guys running the place and a variety of pedalos and surf boards available for those wanting that kind of thing. 7 Euro's for the day and a convenient (and... More

We stayed for a week in a hotel close to other beach but Psaromoura was our favourite one and definitely worth of a longer walk. Far more quiet and less commercial then other beaches, plenty of sun loungers with umbrellas, guys working on the beach are very friendly, little bar with good selection of drinks which are not too expensive...... Organized beach with sunbeds, small bar, and shower but it is a small beach and so many people. Overrated.

We popped down to this beach for a quick look from our Hotel. It isn't very spacious but very popular. There were water sports available and a bar area. The beach is sort of sandy and the sea bed is rocky.
