The views from the Citadel are better as it is higher up - but you have to pay for a ticket to enter. There was no particular need to have done both. You get mostly the same views from a slightly different vantage point.

The Belvedere is easy to reach from the old town of Corte. When the weather is clear you have a great view. The stairs are not too difficult. Besides some souvenir shops there is nothing on the top.

Brilliant views of Corte and the entire valley around. Avoid if you have vertigo's or if your condition is poor.

This is the best spot to overlook all of Corte, the valley, river and the great mountains. Do this first then the Citadel.

Corte is a lovely small Corsican town with many attractions to offer. Among the best ones, there is the Belvedere. Should you ever go to Corte, do go there, no matter the weather :) !
