We were a little ambivalent about visiting the castle as the TripAdvisor reviews were varied but we found it very interesting and worthwhile. There was plenty to see and we could have spent longer.

The idea of staying in the largest medieval fortress in Europe was very appealing but the experience was a disappointment. This was not due to the staff who could not have been more helpful. The fortress is uninteresting and the audio tour poor. Much more...More
