The Bhilar waterfall viewpoint is a part of the Panchgani tour if you opt for sightseeing tours as specified in the tour guide. There is a specific viewpoint on the main road to Mahabaleshwar marked as Bhilar Waterfall Viewpoint.

However, the main point is that unlike the Lingmala waterfall, which you can see from a very close distance, the Bhilar waterfall is quite far. You would also need a camera with decent zooming capacities to capture the same in the camera. The best time to visit the waterfall is during peak monsoon as at that time you can see the full force of the waterfall flowing down the mountain.

The background scene is also very soothing, with the entire hills covered in a lush green blanket with clouds descending on them, giving it a misty look. The flowing winds are nice and cool in this region. All in all, the entire scenery is exceptional, with the only point being that the waterfall is beautiful to the naked eye but is too far and difficult to capture on camera.

The lake can be seen from the highway connecting Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. There is a board that is not clearly visible while driving from the Panchgani side. But the waterfall is visible from the road and there are no designated parking but parking beside the road is acceptable.

The waterfall is not a showstopper and thus can be enjoyed while driving by too. Though tourists do stop by to take a few snaps as a memory. The intrepid flow of water is at its best during the monsoon but there are chances it gets shrouded by cloud cover. Thus a bit of patience is advisable for the clouds to pass by and allow a momentary glimpse.

I mean it does have a straight view of a waterfall.. but its quite far and the best time is monsoon and many a times the view is blocked by the clouds. Also .. I found it to be quite an average attraction and thats why you dont see many tourists here.

The waterfall is really far away, which makes it look tiny. Stop by to click pics and enjoy the view.

We saw Bhilar waterfalls from a distance on our way to Mapro Garden. It's quite a good view with valleys, hills in the backdrop and Bhilar waterfalls. We stopped here for 15 minutes to enjoy the view, take good pics and enjoyed boiled corn while we were at it. Not sure if there is a way to get close to the falls but it is quite visible even from a distance and seems like a big fall.

This water fall can be seen from main road of Panchagani-Mahabaleshwar. However it was month of March so there was no water fall. We have to satisfy with photography only.

One can see the Bhilar waterfalls when driving on the Mahabaleshwar Panchgani main road.

The falls are impressive specially during monsoon season. To have a closer look, one can look through the telescopes available for a nominal charge, though you may need to bargain quite a bit.

Nice to see and the stopover doesn't take more than 15 minutes , after which one can continue with the journey towards Mahabaleshwar or Panchgani.
