I would give this place 5 out of 5 because of the architecture of the temple and best scenic view of the valley out of all other places we visited. This place is the origin of the Krishna river and not many tourists visit this place so not much rush even during peak hours and you can enjoy fully. There... More

Krishnabai temple is a quiet and serene place about 5 min walk from Mahabaleswar temple. This place is isolated, not visited by many tourists. A visual treat for those who like to visit historic places. One must visit this place in the morning (after sunrise) for a blissful experience.

Many travellers do not come here. Its close to panch-ganga temple and also offers stunning views of the valley below. It has a huge monolith inside and the outsides are huge blocks of big stones. You can see the river below for some amazing views. There is a small pond/well into which the river water falls.

This temple is located few meters away from Mahabaleshwar temple and an be missed out easily . The small trail leading towards this temple is enchanting full with greenery and canopies of shrubs. This temple faces the Krishna valley and is supposed to be the source of river Krishna. Though the trail in the beginning looks like a trekking region... More

This temple has a lot of history which is carved and explains the evolution of earth and karma in the carvings. Have a guide to this temple. If possible visit early when the sun rises. It has a beautiful view of the river.
