Another point to be named after a former Governor of Bombay, it’s a beuatiufl point with a great view of the Koyna Valley. If you’re here early on a cloudless day, the Pratapgarh fort is visible from the point. Great place

Not very interesting but do visit as there is not much else to do. There are animal rides and a few snacks available to munch on.

The Elphinstone Point is situated three kms ahead of Arthur's Seat and around 10 odd km ahead of Frere Hall. The cliffs here are much higher and the Konkan floor can be seen almost 2500 ft below the Koyna valley. The point is named after Sir Elphinstone, the British Governor of Bombay. This close encounter with nature shows the magnanimity of nature. Almost 380 degrees view of valley is breathtaking.

The Elphinstone Point is on the way towards Old Mahabaleshwar and Arthur seat. The view points provides amazing panoramic views of the valley. There are a series of steps which leads downwards to the main view point. The area will well guarded by walls and railings for safety. An amazing point for some awesome photographs.
