Went to Mahabaleshwar with a group of my students though the programme was arranged by Mrs. Padmaja. The star attraction of Mahabaleshwar is the Mahabaleshwar Temple. Very very ancient....said to be constructed by the Pandavas. The Shiva Linga is in the form of Rudraksha which is very rear. Felt very spiritual. Mahableshwar temple...Temple of Shiva nice place, Shiv Ling is wide in the shape of Rudraksh, the best time to visit is winter place is full fog at that time with cold climate...there are various place for Fast food where people can have some munch, the best is the sugarcane juice .There are various shops for tourists to shop.....Overall good place... The temple has historical importance it was made by Pandavs. You can visit nearby 2-3 more temples all temples are worth visiting.

Temple premises is peaceful, as most of the tourist trafic is diverted to other attraction of Mahabaleswar, you will find the temples are less crowded and allow to take as much time one want and do puja. Dont forget to have one empty bottle to get water from panchganga.

It was a fantastic vacation staying at Mahabharata. This Hill station is having its own beauty. This place means visit again and again...! The plantation of strawberry makes the tour perfect and value for money.

when your feet touches the old pock marked stone step, you can feel the history seeping through your senses... you will transported to the pandava era, when this was constructed. The shiva linga is in the rudraksh form and has an interesting story attached.. this can be read from a board near the reception counter. many shops selling bags, chocolates,... More

Located in old mahabaleshwar. Clean and peaceful. Parking at temple for rs. 20. Plenty of options for snacks and drinks.
