Sunset Point (Mumbai Point) near the MTDC Resort, Mahabaleshwar is famous for its clear and nice view of the setting sun. People gather around eveninf to watch the sun set. There are few jids activity and gaming shops that offer some very basic activities for kids.

It's located at the south of the city.
Leave from the hotel early because it gets congested after 5:30 Pm.
You can go for Horse Riding, Play games at the game shop.
Mostly the Sun Sets around 5:55 to 6:05 Pm and its to good to watch.
So its a must visit area to a trip to Mahabaleshwar

when ever you visit to Mahabaleshwar dont forget to see the Sunset at Mumbai Point, i know this place gets crowded very fast with few mins. when ever i go to Mahabaleshwar i go to other points but i finish my day with this sunset. you will get only 2-3 min to see the sunset. but worth waiting for that. mean time you can enjoy horse riding, small games like shooting, Ring etc.

Mahabaleshwar is one of the famous neatest hill station from Pune. A drive of 3 hours can take you there. On the way to Mahabaleshwar you can visit Wai at the base than move towards Panchagani and than finally to Mahabaleshwar.
Good time to visit is during winters or rainy season when it's full of fog and cold climate.
Strawberry are famous out here and the Mapro garden which is a major attractions to tourist.
Multiple point to see, A little of shopping and just a place to chill.
There are many resorts and Hotel in Mahabaleshwar and Panchagani to stay.

The beautiful sunset views from the western hills are very enchanting, but overcrowded and eateries are nearby.

We came here during the day rather than at sunset. As a result the place was almost deserted, which certainly made it more appealing. But the view wasn't really that special compared to some of the other viewpoints around Mahabaleshwar. Perhaps it's better at sunset, but then I suspect one would have to deal with all the usual chaos of the traffic and the parking.

Got a lot of horses to ride here. Not much of a view. We visited in April , Shops around the area but not much of a view. The sunset on that day was a disappointment. You will not miss much if you skip this. The woods leading to this place are good.
